What do you get to help solve the mystery
You definitely get a lot!
We provided as much information as possible to help solve the crime. This includes character information on each of the suspects as well as a host of information about the victim, the layout of the cabins and the cruise ship.
Di-Marple has managed to get confidential police files which include scene of crime photos taken on board. As the mystery unravels you be able to supply the suspects with lots of info to quiz over and solve. The mystery includes visual puzzles, cyphers and digital movies to download and distribute. There are no lines to be learned so players can enjoy getting stuck in and solving clues together.
You’ll be able to send new clues to the suspects over three periods which narrows down the suspects. As Di-Marple, you’ll be able to gauge how well each player is progressing and provided extra time or hints to help move the mystery along. We are also on hand if you need advice or help via email. We can host the mystery and play the role of DI-Marple if you prefer – just get in contact if you want us to do so.
Cabin Fever – Content files
To run the the mystery you will need the below mystery packs and files – After purchase you will be able to download the first mystery pack named Di Marple. The pack will contain all the files you need to get things started. The first pack ‘Di Marple’, will have all the links to the files you need, these can then be distributed to the players. They can view some of the files on-line or download them for themselves, when you send a link to the hidden pages on our website.
A great way to run the adventure is for you to post the clues and puzzles to players directly. That way your players will receive an exciting package in the post each week and it relatively easy to do if you can print the information on your own printer. Alternatively you can screen share your desktop with most video platforms like Zoom or Facebook messinger but we would recommend that your players have a printed copy of their own character sheet and Truth & Lies sheet, as they will need to refer to these when they are being cross examined by the rest of the players or passengers.
Below is a visual guide of what is in contained in each pack.
You Can Still Dress To Impress
Dressing-up is all part of the fun. Once you know your assigned character, you may want to dress up for your cruise, pick a theme, or bring some props to support your role. Just like physical parties, the more you put in, the more you get out of it!
